OUR Story

Launching our first seafood concept in the Citicorp building, 157 53rd Street / Lexington Ave in the heart of midtown’s business district, Pesce lulu is uniquely positioned within a newly designed food retail development alongside 14 other vendors at The Hugh Marketplace.

At Pesce lulu guests will be treated to a new and exciting hospitality platform, Fast Casual-Fine Kitchen Counter by globally inspired founder, Jeffrey Tam. Jeffrey translates his vision of food from around the globe and his family through Pesce Lulu. Pesce Lulu will provide seasonal menus with delicious seafood, tacos, salads, sides and other specialties with speed, consistency and quality at a competitive price point. We believe the best food experiences are simple ingredients and refined execution to allow all the flavors of the food to speak for themselves.

Fine. Fast. Casual. Simple and delicious.

Founder

Jeffrey Tam is the founder and creative inspiration behind Pesce lulu, a culinary project which he is deeply passionate about.

Jeffrey’s professional background spans over two decades in cosmetology and working alongside beauty industry legends. For 14 years, Jeffrey’s talent and artistry made him one of the most sought after hair colorists at the prestigious and globally recognized Frederic Fekkai at their flagship Manhattan salon. Passion hobbies such as lifestyle photography has allowed him the opportunity to travel the world and experience many different cultures and cuisines. Pesce lulu is the natural culmination of lifetime experiences and inspiration from his family and friends. When not behind the chair, Jeffrey can be found in the kitchen preparing the food he loves—fresh seafood, salads and sides for his guests at The Hugh and for his wife Michiru and their daughters Lulu and Luanne at their Brooklyn and upstate New York homes. Pesce lulu is named after both daughters. Jeffrey is also a Infantry veteran of the US Army.
